Abstract: Organic agriculture is an important component of society and it should be promoted. Organic agriculture is based on the notion of producing food sustainably from soil that is both balanced and fruitful. The farm must be handled following organic rules, which prohibit the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and synthetic fertilizers. During the manufacturing and processing process, organic and nonorganic goods must be clearly distinguished from one another, and contamination must be avoided. To be accepted into the organic market, the entire chain of organic production must be inspected. If all of the conditions are met, the organic certificate can be awarded, and the mark associated with the certificate can be shown on the certified items. As a result, organic farming can be viewed as a social movement that seeks to provide an alternative to conventional agriculture. Organic agriculture has emerged independently of established agricultural institutions in Europe, the United States, and India over the past several decades as a result of its opposition to conventional agricultural policy. © 2023 Apple Academic Press, Inc.
