Brief introduction: His Excellency Ambassador B S Prakash, a career diplomat has a degree in Physics, a MA in Philosophy and M.Phil in international relations. After thirty eight years in the Indian Foreign Service, he completed his career as India’s Ambassador in Brazil. His earlier postings include Germany, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Sri Lanka, Uganda and the US in different capacities. He was India’s alternative representative to the IAEA in Vienna, Head of the UN division in the Ministry of External Affairs, and a member of the Indian delegations to UN, NAM, G-77, BRICS and IBSA conferences. Currently Amb Prakash has been engaged in academia as a visiting Professor, researcher and writer.
